What is AhaPay and How to Start Using It?
AhaPay is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service that allows you to shop at participating merchants and pay for your purchases in instalments. It offers a convenient way to manage payments over time, subject to eligibility and system approval.
How to Create an AhaPay Account
To register an account:
- Download and open the AhaPay app
- Select Sign Up / Register
- Enter your mobile number and verify it using the OTP
- Create a password for your account
- Provide your personal details (including full name, MyKad number, and required information)
- Submit your registration
After registration, you may be required to complete identity verification (KYC) before accessing full services. Only one AhaPay account is allowed per MyKad.
Where You Can Use AhaPay
AhaPay is accepted at a wide range of participating merchants in Malaysia, including both physical and online stores.
You can find available merchants by:
- Browsing the merchant list in the AhaPay app
- Looking for the AhaPay acceptance sticker at physical stores
- Visiting the official AhaPay website for partner information
How to Make a Purchase Using AhaPay
You can place an order using AhaPay based on the merchant’s available channel:
- Select a participating merchant in the AhaPay app
- Contact the merchant directly to place your order
- Visit the merchant’s physical store to complete your purchase
- For online merchants, select “Visit Merchant Site” in the app and complete your order on the merchant’s website using AhaPay at checkout
